1. Mega Transit & Highways
- Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (Atal Setu): This 21.8 km engineering marvel is fully operational as India’s longest sea bridge. It connects Sewri in South Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai, cutting down a grueling two-hour commute to just 20 minutes and unlocking massive real estate development in the Navi Mumbai region.
- Samruddhi Mahamarg (Mumbai–Nagpur Expressway): A 701 km, 6-lane access-controlled super expressway that is completely operational. It links Nagpur to Mumbai, dropping travel times between the two major cities from 16 hours down to 8 hours and acting as an economic catalyst for rural districts in between.
- Mumbai Coastal Road Project: Phase 1 (connecting Marine Drive to the Worli end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link) is fully open to traffic, featuring advanced twin undersea tunnels. Phase 2, which extends the corridor further north toward Versova and Dahisar, is under active construction.

- **Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA): Following its successful commercial domestic launch, this world-class greenfield facility is expanding rapidly. It is scheduled to officially launch its international passenger and cargo freighter operations, dramatically decongesting Mumbai’s primary airport.
- Vadhavan Port (Palghar): Recently approved and under fast-track development, this massive greenfield, deep-draft port is designed to handle ultra-large cargo vessels. It positions Maharashtra as a primary global maritime trade gateway over the next decade.
3. Urban Rail & Smart Governance
- Mumbai Metro Aqua Line (Line 3): Rapidly expanding across its 33.5 km fully underground corridor connecting Colaba, Bandra, and SEEPZ. It links prime financial districts like the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to the airport.
- Dharavi Redevelopment Project: This massive urban renewal initiative has officially kicked off its first phase. It goes beyond simple housing to build a transit-oriented commercial ecosystem, with the state aiming to deliver the first 10,000 modern rehabilitation homes over the next 18 months.
