Coimbatore Airport is another option around 175 km away. ​By Rail: The closest railhead is Kodai Road (KQN), about 80 km down the hills. From the station, frequent local buses and taxis are available to take you up the scenic ghat road. ​By Road: It is well-connected by smooth road networks from major cities like Madurai, Coimbatore, Munnar, and Bengaluru.

Kodaikanal Lake: The star-shaped heart of the town, perfect for pedaling boats, horse riding, or cycling along its 5 km perimeter. ​Coaker’s Walk: A 1 km paved pedestrian path running along the edge of a steep cliff, offering mind-blowing panoramic views of the plains below. ​Pillar Rocks: Three massive, 122-meter-tall granite rock pillars standing side-by-side, frequently swallowed up by moving clouds. ​Guna Caves (Devil’s Kitchen): Deep, mysterious rock chasms and cave formations surrounded by thick roots, famous across South Indian pop culture. ​Berijam Lake: A pristine, highly protected reservoir deep inside a reserve forest. It requires a special forest department permit to enter, keeping it entirely untouched by commercial crowds.
