Chamarajanagar

Chamarajanagar is the southernmost district of Karnataka, bordering both Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It was carved out of the larger Mysuru district in 1998. Its history is a unique blend of ancient Jain heritage, the birthplace of iconic figures, and the deep-seated influence of the Wadiyars.
