Panipat

Panipat is perhaps the most consequential city in Indian history. Known as the "Pivot of Indian History," it was the site of three massive battles that decided the fate of empires and changed the course of the Indian subcontinent for centuries.
The Mythological Connection (Panprastha)
Panipat is ancient, traditionally identified as one of the five cities (Prasthas) founded by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era.
The Five Villages: Along with Sonipat, Baghpat, Tilpat, and Indraprastha (Delhi), the Pandavas demanded Panipat (then called Panprastha) to avoid the Great War.
