Booking & Timings What are the standard check-in and check-out times?
Overnight Stay: Check-in is at 12:00 PM (Noon), and check-out is at 9:00 AM the next morning.
Day Cruise: Usually runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Do the houseboats cruise all night?
No. Government regulations require all houseboats to anchor by 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM. They remain safely stationary at the riverbank until about 8:00 AM the next morning. This rule allows local fishermen to cast their nets in the dark without interference from engines.
Should I book in advance or get a boat on arrival?
It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially if traveling between October and March. Booking on the spot leaves you vulnerable to pushy touts, and you won't get a chance to inspect the hygiene, boat age, or real interior photos beforehand.
Amenities & Comfort How do the different houseboat categories work?
Deluxe: The entry-level option. Air conditioning (AC) is typically operational only at night (usually from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) inside the bedrooms.
Premium / Luxury: These boats offer full-time (24-hour) AC in both the bedrooms and glass-enclosed living spaces, better furnishings, and broader food menus.
