Lower Deck: Typically houses the bedrooms with attached bathrooms, the main kitchen, and a front lobby area.
Upper Deck: Designed exclusively for sightseeing. It usually features a large open or glass-enclosed sitting lounge, dining tables, and sometimes a second steering position or sun deck.
Is food included, and what kind of cuisine is served?
Yes, full board is included in overnight packages (Welcome Drink, Lunch, Evening Snacks, Dinner, and Breakfast). The food is prepared fresh onboard by a private chef, featuring authentic Kerala cuisine (like Pearl Spot fish/Karimeen, chicken curry, and traditional vegetables).
How does the Air Conditioning (AC) work?
This depends on the class of boat you choose:
Deluxe Double Decker: AC is operational only at night (usually from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) in the bedrooms.
Premium / Luxury Double Decker: Full-time, 24-hour AC is provided in the bedrooms, and often the upper-deck glass lounge is also air-conditioned.
Will we have to share the boat with strangers?
No, unless you explicitly book a "sharing basis" ticket. Standard bookings are exclusive and private. Only your group and the 3-member crew (Captain, Oarsman/Driver, and Chef) will be onboard.
